Poem - I'd rather

Just a simple poem.
Not all my poems resemble my feeling, it could only be words without meaning which I get from listening musics, watching movies, etc.

I'd rather chase your shadows all my life
Than be afraid of my own
I'd rather looking for something I don't know
Than knowing I'm no longer myself

I'd rather be the shadow itself
Than living as someone else
But do WE have any chance to choose?
